On September 27th , within the framework of the capacity building project, MEPM Development of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management, the last training session of Task 3.4.1 took place,
The main objective of this task was to provide teaching staff from Montenegro and Albania with additional knowledge on pollution and land-sea interactions. Specifically, the training was entitled "Land and marine effluents as sources of marine pollution: Technologies for their minimization" and was conducted by Prof. Javier Moreno Andres from the University of Cadiz (Spain). The activity was attended by a total of 10 participants from the receiving universities.
The contents addressed in the training were based on the importance of the SDGs for coastal and marine pollution. Indicators on coastal pollution and the progress being made around the world were presented. In the training, those activities carried out on land and in the marine environment that have an impact on the marine environment, and which are the pollutants generated in the different activities, are developed in depth.
