Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain) welcomed, for the first time, the studies of marine sciences in Spain in 1982.

In 2022 we want to celebrate our 40th anniversary. For this reason, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host the Marine Sciences, from July 6th to 8th, 2022, in different events under the umbrella of the VIII International Symposium on Marine Sciences (ISMS 2022) in the iconic Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.
